Laura Vikmanis serves as an example of what cheerleading is really about: dedication, hard work, and adherence to one's dreams. Laura was watching a Cincinnati Bengals game and decided she wanted to be one of the beautiful and talented women on the field. She tried out at 39, but did not make the squad. Did that stop her? No way! This mother of two worked out and prepared for a year, with her goal firmly in mind. The next year, she made the team and became a member of the Ben-Gals, and has been cheering her heart out on the field for the last two years. Go Laura!
